Ok, I'm going through my bible questions thread on BT from 4/22/04 brain.hastypastry.net/for...hp?t=10620 and I'm going to re-answer/comment from what I got from I recently read and thought about. It may not be 100%, but it's my level of understanding

Re: Genesis 1 | ||

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Elohim, translated wrongly as God, means in Hebrew "those who came from the sky", AND the word is PLURAL! Eloha is singular for one of them, I assume, 46 chromosome beings. The Elohim were scientists, they found earth to be suitible to carry out their projects. They "created", or in reality, discovered earth, and realized it contained all the necessary elements for the creation of "artificial" life (from DNA) 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters. 3 And God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. This means the scientists made reconnaissance flights, and artifical satellites were placed around the earth to study the atmosphere. The earth was, at that time, completely covered with water and thick mist. 4 And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. To create life on Earth it was important to know whether the sun was sending harmful rays to the earth's surface, and this question was researched fully. It turned out that the sun was heating the earth correctly without sending out harmful rays. In other words, the "light was good". 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. That's just them explaining the rotation of the earth gives night and day. God has different meanings, in context, as either Yahweh himself, or any number of one of the Elohim. Some had names, many others weren't known. 6 And God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." 7 And God made the firmament and separated the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was so. After studying the rays above the clouds, the scientists descended below the clouds, but stayed above the waters. That means they were between the clouds, "the waters which were above the firmament", and the ocean covering the whole planet, "the waters which were under the firmament". 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. 9 And God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so. After they studied the surface of the ocean, they studied the sea bed and determined that it was not very deep and fairly even everywhere. So then, by means of fairly strong explosions, they created the deep oceans we have and all the water went into them, exposing the land below. That was the Pangea we imagine we once had here. And all our continents seem to all fit together as if they came from one piece. 10 God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, "Let the earth put forth vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, upon the earth." And it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening and there was morning, a third day. In this magnificent and gigantic labratory, they created vegetable cells from nothing other than chemicals, which then produced various types of plants. All their efforts were aimed at reproduction. The few blades of grass they created had to reproduce on their own. The scientists spread out across this immense continent in small research teams. Every individual created different varieties of plants according to their inspiration and the climate. They met up at regular intervals to compare their research and their creations. The people back on their own planet followed their progress from afar with passion and amazement. The most brilliant artists came and joined the scientists in order to give some plants purely decorative and pleasing roles, either through their appearance or their perfume. 14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth." And it was so. 16 And God made the two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth, 18 to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day. By observing the stars and the sun they could measure the duration of the days, the months and the years on Earth. This helped them regulate their life on the new planet -- so different from their own where days and years did not have the same duration. Research in astronomy enabled them to locate themselves precisely and to understand the earth better. 20 And God said, "Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the firmament of the heavens." 21 So God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." 23 And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day. Next they created the first aquatic animals, from plankton to small fish, then very large fish. They also created seaweed to balance this little world, so that the small fish could feed on it and the bigger fish could eat the small fish in turn. Thus a natural balance would be established, and one species would not destroy another species in order to survive. This is what you now refer to as "ecology", and that was achieved successfully. The scientists and artists met often and organized competitions to determine which team had created the most beautiful or most interesting animals. After the fish they created birds. This was done under pressure, it must be said, from the artists, who went out of their way to create the most stunning forms with the craziest colors. Some of them had great trouble flying because their beautiful feathers were very cumbersome. The contests went even further, embracing not only physical characteristics but also the behavior of these animals, particularly the wonderful dances of their mating rituals. 24 And God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds." And it was so. 25 And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the cattle according to their kinds, and everything that creeps upon the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. After marine organisms and birds, the scientists created land animals on a planet where the vegetation had by now become magnificent. There was plenty of food for the herbivores. These were the first land animals which were created. Later they created carnivores to balance the herbivorous population. Here too, the species had to maintain equilibrium. It was at that time the most skillful wanted to create a human being, like them. Each team set to work, and very soon were able to compare creations. But on their home planet, people were outraged when they heard that they were making "test tube children" who might threaten their world some day. They feared that we could become a danger if our mental capacity or power turned out to be superior to the creators. So they agreed to leave the humans live in a very primitive way without letting them know anything scientific, and they mystified their actions. It's easy to work out how many teams of creators doing this, each race on Earth corresponds to a team of creators. 26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." Quote: The question is answered! 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth." 29 And God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food." And it was so. 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day. "In our image and likeness". That's when the trouble started. The team located in the country called Israel, which at the time was not far from Greece and Turkey on the original continent, was composed of brilliant creators who were perhaps the most talented team of all. Their animals were the most beautiful and their plants had the sweetest perfumes. This was what you call "paradise on Earth". The human beings they created there were the most intelligent. So steps had to be taken to ensure that they did not surpass their creators. The created, therefore, had to be kept in ignorance of the great scientific secrets while being educated for the purpose of measuring their intelligence. The answers to each part of Genesis comes mainly from The Book Which Tells the Truth by Claude Rael. www.rael.org/download.php?view.1 It's copyrighted, so I'm assuming I'm using parts of it with permission from Yahweh and the Elohim Should I go on to Genesis 2? You know what's coming next. I'll let this sink in a bit. Fascinating story, no?

Re: Genesis 1 | ||

I'm going to change the names of the Cast of Characters, from how I understand this text...
1 In the beginning (God) [the Elohim] created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the (Spirit of God) [Elohim, in flying crafts were] (was) moving over the face of the waters. 3 And (God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.) [The Elohim put up satellites] 4 And (God) [the Elohim] saw that the light was good; and (God) [the Elohim] separated the light from the darkness. [just explaining night & day] 5 (God) [the Elohim] called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. 6 And (God said) [the Elohim decided], "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." 7 And (God) [the Elohim were now between the clouds and waters] made the firmament and separated the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was so. 8 And (God) [the Elohim] called the (firmament) [clouds/sky] Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. 9 And (God said) [the Elohim determined], "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so. 10 (God) [the Elohim] called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11 And (God said), [the Elohim created] "(Let the earth put forth) vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, upon the earth." And it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And (God) [the Elohim] saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening and there was morning, a third day. 14 And (God) [the Elohim] said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth." And it was so. [the Elohim explained how to use the stars for navigation and seasons] 16 And God made the two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth, 18 to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day. [the Elohim explained the sun, moon and stars, this is how they understood it] 20 And (God said), [the Elohim created next] "(Let the) [in the] waters (bring forth) swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the firmament of the heavens." 21 So (God) [the Elohim] created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And (God) [the Elohim] blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." 23 And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day. 24 And (God said), [the Elohim] ("Let the earth bring forth) [created] living creatures according to their kinds: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds." And it was so. 25 And (God) [the Elohim] made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the cattle according to their kinds, and everything that creeps upon the ground according to its kind. And (God) [the Elohim] saw that it was good. 26 Then (God said), [the Elohim] ("Let us make) [created] man in our image [we look like them], after our likeness [we are of their DNA]; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." [as the Elohim do] 27 So (God) [the Elohim] created man in his own image, in the image of (God) [the Elohim] he created him; male and female he created them. 28 And (God) [the Elohim] blessed them, and (God) [the Elohim] said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth." [the created were then able to parent their own children] 29 And (God said) [the Elohim instructed], "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food." And it was so. 31 And (God) [the Elohim] saw everything that (he) [they] had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day. Ever since we mapped DNA and can do some of our own creations and manipulations... I would imagine it could have happened starting 25000 years ago. We mistook them for Gods, and they used it to their advantage since they really were no more than 46 chromosome blood and organ based beings, basically like us.. or rather, we are like them. Except they had all this knowledge, flying ships and machinary that we just couldn't yet understand. But now that we are starting to understand, this can make a lot of sense.... But they won't reveal themselves until we stop wars and become peaceful and loving like they are. Catch 22. I don't think we're ready yet. But maybe some day.. that's the hope anyway. Or they say we'll blow ourselves up fighting over misunderstood observations and dealings. It does make sense though... could it be? |

The continuing appearance of flying
craft from Genesis to
It is there the first time God speaks to Moses and appears over and over again right up to the revelation of John and is pointed out
as the key to recognizing the Second Coming. It was there at the Exodus, it landed right in front of Ezekiel and hovered overhead at the birth, baptism,
transfiguration and ascension of Jesus. Elijah rode in it, Job was confronted by it, Jesus was brightly illuminated under it and Paul was blinded by it. It
ascends, descends and hovers. It spins, flashes and glows. It can cause earthquakes, destructive winds, mass destruction and it can dry up seas. God says it is
his throne, dwelling place and one very powerful means of impressing his will on mankind. God says in it lies his strength and his truth. To deny that God
commands a flying craft is to ignore the testimony of the prophets, the apostles and Jesus himself. And when Jesus said he would return, he said he would be in
command of a fleet of flying vehicles, twenty thousand strong, and forcibly retake control of the planet.
Dumbing Down The Bible The Old Testament is the compilation of the encounters between a race of super beings known as the Elohiym, led by a being known as Yhovah and served by a race of beings known as the Malak. Yhovah, with an army of beings, has created a planet and populated it with a vast variety of living creatures existing in perfect harmony. The Elohiym and the Malak are eternal beings. The Elohiym created a race of physical beings known as the Adam to be caretakers of this newly created biosphere. It is the physical nature of the relationship between the Elohiym and the Adam that this work addresses. A simple study of the text will show that this relationship is hardly the ethereal, vague and often confusing one that the church would have you believe. It is, rather, a glaring, powerful meeting between a race of superior beings that travel in high tech, high flying, brightly lit, very large, ultra powerful vehicles confronting a primitive, no-tech and non-flying race of terrified, often belligerent and combative, race of humans. This association is documented throughout the Old Testament and only changes in the books of the New Testament when the decision is made to integrate the Elohiym into the Adamic race. Yhovah becomes Jesus and the relationship changes radically.
There are two basic reasons for flying phenomenon in the Bible remaining such a well kept secret. The first is the historical
context in which the Bible was written. We live in a modern age with so much light on our planet we can't see the stars at night. So many things are
flying around in our skies, our airports are running out of room to land them all. One would be hard pressed to find anyone old enough to talk that
doesn't know what UFO stands for. Highly advanced technological wonders are now common place. Consider the age of the writings contained in the 66
books of the King James Bible (79 if you include the Apocrypha, which was in the original King James Bible). These writings are between 2000 and 4000 years
old. This was a primitive and no-tech time and the total absence of such technology is key to understanding what the writers are describing. No house
lights, streetlights, spotlights, searchlights or neon signs. No private planes, jets, helicopters, blimps, missiles, satellites or weather balloons and
none of the lights and sounds that go with them. When someone tries to describe something that is flying, spinning, glowing and flashing in the sky, it can
only be described in the terms of things known in that person's environment. Never having seen even so much as a kite in the sky, the description can
take many forms, all in the terms of the natural world and the crude manmade objects of the day. There simply was nothing technological to compare it to.
This is why there are clouds, whirlwinds, chariots and platforms. Glowing things are fires enfolding themselves, flashes are lightnings, lights are fires,
lamps or coals and moving parts are living things.
A careful study of these related sightings will make only one thing questionable. Not whether God uses a flying vehicle, but how many different types are actually used. Was it several different vehicles or several varying descriptions of the same one? Even though Ezekiel's very close encounter with this strange craft is the most vividly detailed of all, it is only one of many sightings. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the pillar of a cloud became a pillar of fire because someone turned the lights on. Certain lights that this vehicle project are so awesome, they actually strike fear and blindness into those that see them. But, of course, a modern flashlight would probably scare someone living thousands of years ago. King James
If one can grasp the reality of the Bible's historical setting, then there is only
one more hurdle to conquer. Although the term "dumbing-down" did not exist in the early 17th century, that is exactly the intent of King James when
he undertook the project of translating the Bible and it was the inevitable result of that work. This infamous King of England cast a veil over the treasures
in this ancient writing. The language he chose was not the common English of the day, but the obscure language of the royal court he commanded. He chose a
language not only foreign to the common people, but one so simplistic that it was totally inadequate to properly render the languages it replaced. The
competence of the translators was really of little importance considering the true agenda of this despotic, authoritarian and repressive monarch. He had only
two goals. One was his desire to be a god-king by affirming the "divine right of kings" and the other was to eliminate the access of the common
people to these works. To accomplish this end, he gave his hand picked supervisor of the project, the Bishop of London, strict dogmatic instruction and gave
final approval to the book that bears his name. Had it not been what he wanted, it would never have been published. The result is a language nobody
understands, numerous purposeful mistranslations and so many words added or deleted, the toll is incalculable. The fruit of his labor has held fast over four
centuries. In the world of Bible-based religions, there are more denominations than books in the Bible, more sub-denominations than chapters and more pastoral
schisms than verses.
